What is your main source of inspiration as a designer?
Urban environment, modern architecture, organic shapes…….
Contemporary urban landscapes and modernist architecture that breaks the traditional norms as well as the the organic shapes whose aesthetic values lie in their uniqueness.
What is your favourite material to work with?
I love and use the 24 carat gold for its purity and intense colour and always combine it with the vibrant, curiously cut stones. The glittering, uneven surfaces of the stones contrast with the abstract design of the pieces and brightly textured gold. Each, hand made piece bonds minimalism and innovation resulting in one of kind, desirable objects.
If you had to choose three words to describe your jewellery, what would they be?
Bold, impactful, sculptural
What led you to become a jewellery designer?
The fascination and desire to create long lasting objects of beauty, whose qualities would be appreciated by people long after I am gone.
Which is the piece you would most like to have kept for yourself and why?
It is impossible to make a choice and single out an individual piece, as so much thought, feeling and effort has gone into their creation and I love them all.
